Golden Valley FFA Ag Boosters was started in 2018 but has its roots going back to the Merced Golden Valley FFA Booster Club.  From 1994 (when GVHS first opened until 2007, the Merced High School and Golden Valley High School Ag programs were jointly operated as the Merced-Golden Valley FFA Chapter at East Campus in Merced and at the time, the Booster club supported the Merced-Golden Valley FFA Chapter.  After the split, the single club operated for a few years trying to support both programs, but soon the Merced-Golden Valley FFA Ag Boosters realized that they would be able to provide better support to the students if the Booster Club was split into two, each with its own set of volunteers, supporters and charter. Thus today there is a Merced High Ag Boosters, Inc. and a Golden Valley FFA Ag Boosters, Inc.

Golden Valley FFA Ag Boosters has held an annual dinner for a number of years in the past.  For 2025-2026, the Boosters are going to do something new by hosting a Golf Tournament at Rancho Del Ray Golf Course in Atwater, CA.  Details are forthcoming.
